five apps for the city, one system underneath: the same wordmark pattern, navigation and help tab, each app with its own color.
the municipality asked for small apps, one service at a time: a support card, a solidarity bill, adoption, pharmacies, events. built separately, the city would have had five apps that look unrelated, so i built them on a shared base.
every app's name is set the same way, the first word bold and the second light, and each app has one color of its own: yellow for yakın kart, cyan for can dostlar, green for askıda fatura, red for the pharmacy finder, lime for the event app. side by side they read as one family.
the bottom navigation and the help tab, with questions and contact details, are the same in every app, in code as well as in design. each app came out faster than the one before, and someone who has used one already knows where things are in the next.
each app opens on the answer it exists for: yakın kart on the remaining balance, the pharmacy finder on a map of on-duty pharmacies with directions two taps away (we tested that), can dostlar on each animal's photo with its sex, age and weight.
in askıda fatura, the person who leaves a bill and the person who pays it never see each other's personal details; the list shows only the type, the utility company and the amount. as a team we held that to be an ethical requirement. for can dostlar i proposed three steps: apply in the app, meet the animal at the shelter, then approval. the app starts the adoption, and the meeting stays in person.
the event app is for young people, so it keeps the wordmark pattern and the navigation and leaves the rest behind: dark screens, a lime accent, big and loud type, a strip of days across the top. 40+ screens in all.
the pharmacy finder and can dostlar are live. yakın kart, held by 12,101 people, askıda fatura and the event app are built and waiting for the municipality's release.
